The organization is looking for a Social Media Consultant to join its team, helping amplify its impact by managing social media channels and creating compelling content.
The Role
As a Social Media Consultant, you will be responsible for managing Madre Brava’s social media presence, creating strategic and engaging content, and ensuring the organization’s messaging resonates with key audiences. Your role will focus on content creation, including video editing, and content scheduling to ensure maximum reach and engagement. You will also collaborate with designers and video editors for larger projects and help optimize the performance of campaigns using data analysis. The role offers flexibility and autonomy with the potential for extension based on performance and organizational needs.
Responsibilities

Manage and grow Madre Brava’s social media channels, including the launch of new ones.

Lead content creation for social media channels, including written posts, images, and short videos.

Develop and coordinate a social media content calendar to maximize impact.

Monitor and analyze social media performance, adjusting content strategies to improve engagement.

Produce engaging content in collaboration with designers and video editors.

Manage paid social campaigns and assist in the setup of ad campaigns.

Stay updated with social media trends and advancements in digital communication.

Develop a guide with best practices for internal staff creating social media content.
Requirements

Proven experience in creating and executing strategic social media plans, with a focus on audience engagement.

Experience in content creation and social media management, particularly for LinkedIn and TikTok.

Strong skills in photo, image, and video editing.

Experience in managing paid social campaigns.

Ability to work with a social media communications calendar and manage content scheduling.

Crisis management skills for social media.

Fluent in English; knowledge of Thai, German, or Spanish is a bonus.
