Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join Impactful Giving’s team on a contract basis.

The ideal candidate will develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to increase website traffic, boost engagement, and ultimately help direct more donations to effective non-profit organisations across India.

It’s a great opportunity for someone interested in having an impact on some of the most pressing problems in India, such as Public Health, Animal Welfare and Climate Change.

This role is only open to candidates who have lived and worked in India.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy with focus on increasing
    website traffic and engagement
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings
  • Create and manage targeted social media campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Design and oversee content marketing initiatives that align with our mission
  • Set up Google Ads and optimise Google Analytics and other analytics tools to track
    performance
  • Create monthly performance reports with actionable insights
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure messaging consistency across all digital platforms
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with social media influencers across channels for collaboration and marketing opportunities
  • Optimise the website built on Wix to enhance conversion rates and user experience as
    necessary.

Role Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

  • 3-5 years of proven digital marketing experience, preferably with non-profits or social impact organisations in India
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully increasing website traffic and engagement
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and content marketing strategies
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search Console, SEO tools and social media advertising platforms
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools and best practices
  • Data-driven approach to marketing with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Interested in contributing to solving social and environmental problems in India
