We’re on the hunt for a Lead Copywriter to join our growing team. You will work closely with designers to concept, create and oversee copy output for one of our biggest clients — A dream client for many writers, being successful in the role will require you to be able to adhere to strict copy guidelines while continuing to advance their famously inspiring and irreverent tone of voice.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in conceptual copywriting, but also a real flair for hands-on long and short form copywriting. We’re looking for a writer who really wants to write — be that a manifesto, campaign headline or an email. You should hold your own writing to the same high standards you hold your team to.

A real passion for the worlds of sport, fashion and culture are essential. So if you’ve got the knowledge and experience to back it up, get in touch.

TYPICAL ACTIVITIES

– Writing and overseeing copy — everything from campaign ideation to roll-out across all manner of digital and physical media.

– Flexing tones of voice with ease — in one moment you might be creating hype around a sneaker release, and in the next you could be writing a long-form piece about the beauty of the morning run.

– Thinking creatively and collaborating with designers, developers and other writers on 360 campaigns.

– Creating bulletproof copy that adheres to Nike’s tone of voice guidance, along with legal and translation considerations.

– Working closely and collaboratively with numerous clients.

– Reviewing copy and leading a team of writers.

SKILLS REQUIRED

– Solid experience working with global brands.

– A real passion for writing and a knack for conceptual thinking.

– Flexibility and creativity when responding to feedback.

– Flawless attention to detail.

– Excellent time management.

– Compelling presentation skills.

– Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative and proactive attitude.
