We’re seeking an experienced VP of Growth to own and scale our customer acquisition, conversion, and monetization engine. You'll lead cross-functional growth initiatives spanning our PLG motion (self-serve creators) and enterprise/sales-led growth (media companies, brands), building scalable, repeatable systems to drive revenue growth. Please note that compensation is dependent on experience.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Minimum of 8+ years leading growth at high-growth SaaS companies, ideally with hybrid GTM models (PLG + enterprise).
- Proven track record scaling a self-serve product to $50M–$200M+ ARR while building out enterprise growth capabilities.
- Expertise in demand generation, performance marketing, lifecycle automation, and product-led growth experimentation.
- Strong analytical mindset, fluent with growth metrics and data tools.
- Experience building and leading multi-disciplinary growth teams (performance marketing, content, SEO, partnerships, community, creator evangelism).

- Equally comfortable setting high-level growth strategy and digging into the details to unblock the team or optimize specific initiatives; thrives at the 30,000-foot view and day-to-day execution.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Growth Strategy: Develop and execute the overarching growth strategy across product-led and enterprise channels, aligning with company ARR and churn reduction goals.
- Customer Acquisition: Build and optimize multi-channel acquisition (performance marketing, content, SEO, partnerships, community, creator evangelism).
- Lifecycle & Retention: Design and implement activation, conversion, upsell, and retention programs to increase ARPU and reduce churn.
- Enterprise Sales and Marketing: Partner with Sales to develop playbooks that move high-value customers from self-serve → enterprise relationships. Also, drive high-quality leads to expand inbound motion for Sales to qualify and convert.
- Data & Experimentation: Build a robust growth analytics stack and run rapid experimentation to identify high-leverage growth opportunities.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and scale a high-performing growth team (marketing, product growth, lifecycle, social, data).
- Storytelling: Craft clear and compelling data-driven narratives that can effectively tell beehiiv's story across media, both written and verbally
- Ruthless Prioritization: Focus relentlessly on the highest-leverage growth bets, cut through the noise, and ensure your team moves resources and attention only to what delivers outsized impact on company objectives.
