Roam is the AI-powered subscription software boosting creative entrepreneurs' bottom line and optimizing business operations with unique tools like Fee Finder. As we gear up for launch, we’re looking for a short-term Social Media & Community Engagement Lead to help build buzz and grow an engaged community around our brand.

What you'll do:
- Social Channel Management – Post across TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Reddit with platform-specific strategy.
- Short form Content Creation – Make short, engaging videos (how-tos, walkthroughs, or lo-fi city street interviews with creatives).
- Comments-as-Channel Strategy – Identify high-reach accounts with our audience and seed value in the comments.
- Reddit Subreddit Strategy – Find and engage in design and freelance-focused communities.
- Turn Viewers into Sign-Ups – Optimize CTAs to drive conversions and guide people to our platform.
- Memes, Micro-Posts, and Magic – We want to be helpful, funny, and sharp. If you’ve ever said “This should’ve gone viral,” we want you.
What we're looking for:
- You are/were a freelance creative yourself, ideally a graphic designer so you understand the life, jokes, and struggles of our users.
- You have an outgoing, witty, and bold personality and are not shy to put yourself out there.
- You’re fluent in creator culture, and you know what content people want to see.
- You know how to be clever and want to come up with some wildcard ideas.
- You care about making stuff people actually enjoy — not just pushing products.
- You’re down to move fast and test things.
- Must be based in a main US city (NY, LA, SF, etc) as this will involve content made in public.
- First timers welcome! If you've been behind the computer/camera freelance creative but always thought you had the personality to be in front of the camera, we welcome your big break to be via Roam's brand.
This is a paid role for 1–2 months with potential for longer-term work based on performance. Flexible hours, async-friendly, and you’ll collaborate directly with the founders.
