Ready to make magic? We’re hiring for our 12-month undergraduate placement schemes.
By joining the National Geographic (Nat Geo) brand, you will collaborate with a team of marketing professionals focusing on the TV brand across our EMEA (Europe, Middle East and African) markets. You will help the team to enhance awareness, affinity and viewership for our linear TV channels. During the 12-month you will actively contribute to discussions on marketing strategy and campaign planning, whilst building the foundations of a successful marketing career.
There are two internships on offer within this remit. By applying for this internship, you will be considered for both opportunities. If you have a preference, please state this in your cover letter.
Marketing Intern
You’ll collaborate with teams across research, programming, creative, social, and communications to bring Nat Geo’s TV campaigns to life across the EMEA markets. From campaign overviews, creative briefs to supporting communications with key partners like Virgin Media and Sky, you’ll play a hands-on role in shaping how audiences experience our content. You’ll also help update the Nat Geo TV website and build strong relationships to stay ahead of show assets and release timelines.
Social Media Internship
You’ll help manage and promote Nat Geo’s TV channels and shows across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. You’ll be involved in planning and scheduling content, supporting quarterly performance reporting, and diving into social listening and research projects. You’ll also contribute to newsletters and updates for EMEA markets, developing both creative and analytical skills in a collaborative, mission-driven team. Take full ownership with managing the relationship with the National Geographic Society and Explorers.
Working within either of these roles will provide you with a brilliant foundation in marketing as well as insight into the National Geographic business.
This is an office-based internship. 4 days working in the Hammersmith, London office with 1 day working from home (Monday or Friday).
