Job Description
Beryl’s Marketing team is seeking a talented freelance designer to collaborate on a variety of marketing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a range of marketing materials across various channels, ensuring consistency with Beryl’s brand identity.
Responsibilities
As a Freelance Designer at Beryl, you will be responsible for the following:
- Campaign design: develop visually compelling assets for marketing campaigns, including but not limited to:
- Hero assets
- Social media graphics and videos
- Email marketing templates
- Print materials
- CRM support: design engaging visuals for CRM communications, such as email newsletters, promotional offers, and customer journey materials
- Social media assets: create eye-catching and on-brand graphics, animations, and videos for Beryl’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
- Ad-hoc design requests: respond to a variety of ad-hoc design requests from the marketing team
Role Requirements
Essential (must haves):
- Proven experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of marketing materials
- Proficiency in relevant design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Canva, Figma)
- A solid understanding of design principles, including typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
- Experience in designing for both digital and print media
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for creating engaging content.
- Experience with CRM design and email marketing best practices is a plus
- Experience working within brand guidelines and maintaining brand consistency
Desirable (nice to haves):
- Awareness of the bike/scooter hire industry or transportation
- Experience working with a business that has an app
- Understanding of print processes
