UTA seeks a Director, Creative Production to become a key part of its global Corporate Communications team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing stunning visual storytelling that elevates UTA's business and position in the marketplace. The Director, Creative Production role will be a leader within a robust, multi-faceted corporate communications team in Los Angeles, reporting to the Vice President, Editorial.
This role requires a passion for and a deep expertise in brand storytelling that spans the worlds of entertainment, sports, and media. As a hands-on creative producer, you will help shape brand narratives from ideation to production to final delivery, partnering with Corporate Communications colleagues and leaders throughout the agency. This includes editorially minded short-form and docu-style videos; brand anthems, sizzles, and client reels; social media and creator-style content, including data-driven graphics and motion assets; photography; and brand marketing assets.
This senior creative will produce for a mix of internal and external channels as well as at owned and industry events, aligned to the company's editorial calendar. As such, candidates need to have deep knowledge of today's communications and media landscape, understanding how creativity, content, platforms, and audience come together to drive brand relevance and impact.
The salary range for this role is $150,000 to $170,000 commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do
• Oversee end-to-end production development of original content, aligned to strategic initiatives and editorial calendar
• Provide creative direction and oversight throughout production lifecycles to ensure content meets brand and messaging standards in tone and visual identity
• Act as the lead producer on sets (including some evening and weekend events), and be an active collaborator with the Vice President, Editorial on new creative concepts
• Partner regularly with Corporate Communications peers and leaders from across the company to discover and develop story ideas about UTA's business areas, events, clients, culture, and employees
• Build creative briefs and production plans that satisfy requests for creative support from company leaders
• Be a mentor to in-house video editors and freelance partners
• Oversee vendor relationships, from selection to contracting and creative alignment
• Lead budgeting for production initiatives, including estimating, approvals, and cost tracking across projects
• Ensure all content complies with usage rights, licensing, and legal guidelines, especially when working with client IP, talent likenesses, and co-branded content
What You Will Need
• 8+ years of experience, preferably at a leading entertainment or media company or a creative agency that services brands connected to entertainment and culture
• A portfolio of work that demonstrates your experience in bringing to life a range of storytelling campaigns and narratives tied to business goals and capabilities
• Expert knowledge of creating for digital platforms, including but not limited to websites, newsletters, and top social platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube)
• Experience as the senior-most producer on sets and at events, creating a safe and welcoming space from load-in to load-out
• A deep network of trusted vendors and freelancers across the worlds of video production, video editing, experiential marketing, virtual and live events, photography, social and creator content, and graphic design
• Excellent collaboration skills, with a proven track record of successfully partnering with senior-level executives or clients to deliver projects on time and on budget; experience with formal pitching and presenting is a plus
• Ability to scope projects, manage feedback, and deliver on time
• Ability to move between a range of smaller scale and larger scale projects every day, and fearless in contributing out-of-the-box ideas
• Strong written and verbal communications skills, sound judgment, and attention to detail
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, online project management tools (e.g., Asana), Keynote or PowerPoint
• Experience with LucidLink and media sourcing a plus
