RoadMap is the largest private network for young professionals.

We are seeking a Contract Content Specialist to manage our social channels, mainly Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, with potential expansion to YouTube, Snapchat, and Reddit. Your goal is to create informative, entertaining, and engaging content.

You will have the freedom to shape our content strategy, experiment with different formats, and create posts related to job searching, interviewing, networking, workplace culture, and career advancement.

This role involves writing, editing, and posting daily social media content, analyzing social performance, and reporting on audience growth. Additional responsibilities include helping to produce the RoadMap newsletter and ghost-writing LinkedIn posts for executives, ensuring a cohesive voice across all platforms.

Weekly Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage daily content and posting across all social channels.
  • Create original content and graphics for social media and digital platforms.
  • Collaborate to optimize and post creator-driven content.
  • Develop and execute strategic social media campaigns.
  • Grow and maintain followers through proactive engagement.
  • Build community by engaging with the audience.
  • Identify new opportunities for our brand on digital platforms.
  • Write and distribute the RoadMap newsletter.
  • Ghost-write LinkedIn posts for executives.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years in digital, social media, public relations, and/or advertising.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, advertising, media studies, or related field.
  • Exceptional writing skills and ability to adapt to different tones and styles.
  • Experience in social media copywriting, newsletters, and LinkedIn ghost-writing.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality work on deadline.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, & LinkedIn.
  • Up-to-date on current and emerging social trends.
  • Experience managing social channels for professional trends and career content.
  • Proficiency in graphic creation using tools like Canva or Photoshop.
  • Proficiency in video editing using tools like CapCut or Premier. 
  • Familiarity with paid channels, including paid social, SEO, or SEM campaigns.
