Provides strategic support in the development and implementation of social media and digital marketing strategies, including digital conversion support for consumer/patient acquisition and retention, as well as social media engagement and strategies. Assists in the creation and publishing of content to share on a variety of platforms. Supports the external marketing communications team and larger organization in patient acquisition and retention by increasing awareness and new patient volume, building positive preference and sustained loyalty for EvergreenHealth services and physicians. Supports all levels of the patient journey through the marketing channels from awareness to conversion with the ultimate goal of patient loyalty and preference.
Primary Duties:
- Serves as moderator for all social media outlets through in-depth knowledge of social media platforms, their respective participants, and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios, including: Facebook (EvergreenHealth, EvergreenHealth Monroe), Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Responsible for monitoring social media for customer service issues. Distributes social media inquires (Contact Us) and private messages internally for appropriate follow up.
- Responsible for monitoring conversations in online groups and form influencers to support brand differentiation and business goals and identify service recovery issues.
- Monitors online review sites (Google My Business, Yelp, social media reviews etc.). Partners with patient experience and billing and elevates complaints in alignment with organizational process for managing complaints.
- Posts content to social media platforms every day.
- Creates social media graphics using established in-brand templates.
- Assists in collaborative development of reputation management platforms, participates in establishing a process to proactively solicit online reviews, and works with managers of consumer-driven practices to ensure internal workflows at the practice level support overall goals.
- Supports organizational strategic digital strategies-primarily pertaining to advertising and consumer experience.
- Under direction of leadership, supports planning, research, and messaging for all aspects of digital media and marketing, including web content, campaign landing pages, digital advertising, social media messaging/campaigns, digital promotions, traditional advertising, etc.
- Remains up to date on innovative and new digital trends in the consumer realm, including contributing to the development of strategic recommendations, analysis, and timeline on opportunities for future implementation.
- Works closely with the team for consistent campaign execution across all mediums.
- Assists in creating competitive strategies to execute digital marketing campaigns with the goal of driving web traffic and new patient acquisition.
- Collaborates with cross-functional groups and utilizes expert knowledge of search engine optimization to develop and optimize digital and web content that engages communities and supports organizational strategic goals.
- Develops original and innovative editorial content for the Well Together blog and newsletter.
- Implements research and interviewing skills to process subject matter and translate into lay terms for all audiences.
- Supports internal and external marketing-sponsored events and recognition programs associated with growth strategies, such as grand openings, open houses, groundbreakings, physician- led seminars, community forums, health fairs, retirement events, recognition weeks, etc. including pre-event promotion, event budgets, themes and purpose for events, staff/volunteers, vendors and community members at events and post-event follow-up, collaborating with internal personnel and external resources, as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
License, Certification, Education or Experience:
REQUIRED for the position:
- Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related business field
- 5 years of progressively responsible experience in digital marketing, familiarity with asset management, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Professional expertise in healthcare marketing, digital marketing and social media strategy, advertising, community outreach, web development, and communications
- Knowledge of national and industry best-practices and emerging trends to evaluate their efficacy for EvergreenHealth
- Ability to develop effective solutions by recognizing and analyzing marketing, communications, web, and digital media problems. Strategic thinker with analytical abilities.
- Demonstrated competence in project management with strong conceptual skills
- Strong web writing skills with the ability to adapt voice and writing style effectively for a diverse variety of mediums and audiences
- Presents information well and can relate comfortably with staff, physicians, management, and the community
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including skills in facilitating, public speaking, and utilizing communication channels, Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Exceptional proficiency MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and other software programs with working knowledge of graphic design and layout
- Must be team player, self-motivated, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Demonstrates high level of energy, enthusiasm, initiative and professional integrity.
- Ability to build collaboration and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers, to meet and measure customer service needs, and to partner with others.
