Job Description

Senior Paid Media Strategists play an important role at Mad Fish. This position is directly responsible for managing a significant portion of our paid media client portfolio. They possess an advanced degree of experience with paid media such that they are capable of connecting strategy directly to a client’s business objectives without hesitation.
Tasked with the creation and continually optimising paid media strategies, Senior Paid Media Strategists autonomously develop and execute cutting edge cross-channel paid media strategies with the utmost precision. They rely on a wealth of experience to construct solutions to emerging challenges for the paid media team.
As an experienced resource for the agency, Senior Paid Media Strategists are driving Mad Fish’s collective knowledge forward through calculated testing, critical thinking, and a steadfast commitment to improving our services.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Paid Media Strategist at Mad Fish Digital, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Operate as the internal point-of-contact for assigned paid media clients
  • Cultivate client partnerships through the development and execution of custom paid media strategies
  • Create, manage and optimize all campaign types in Google and Bing ad platforms
  • Create, manage and optimize paid social campaigns on LinkedIn, Meta, X, Pinterest and TikTok.
  • Work collaboratively with Client Strategists to discuss account performance, goals, and recommendations
  • Report on campaign performance and results, both internally and externally
  • Communicate regularly with Client Strategists and other cross-functional team members to ensure client goals are being met
  • Develop and implement paid media strategies for new clients and existing clients
  • Participate in prospective client meetings and speak to our paid media philosophy
  • Seamlessly onboard new paid media clients
  • Proactively identify issues in client accounts and provide solutions to team members and clients

Role Requirements

We are looking for someone who has/is:

  • a minimum of 4 years of experience with creating, managing and optimizing full funnel campaign strategies within Google Ads in an agency environment, including experience with Search, Display, Performance Max, Video, and Shopping campaign types
  • a minimum of 4 years of experience creating, managing and optimizing paid social campaigns across multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, X)
  • confident in your ability to develop multi-channel paid media strategies that connect directly to the client’s business objectives, delivering quantifiable results
  • recent experience developing, implementing, and optimising cross-platform B2B Lead Generation strategies
  • experience with Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking troubleshooting, and data validation strongly preferred
  • an excellent communicator, proficient in leading reporting calls with marketing directors, CMOs and business owners
  • a reporting wiz, drawing data driven insights to report regularly on performance and testing. You have an advanced understanding of Excel/Google Sheets and expedite your analysis through the use of these tools
  • possess a master level understanding of web analytics and attribution models to the extent that can identify and correct abnormal patterns
  • make decisions based on data
