Responsibilities:
Strategic Vision & Brand Positioning
- Define and drive Groupize’s overarching marketing vision and strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals and growth targets.
- Execute Groupize’s refreshed brand vision, bringing the updated positioning and messaging framework to life to create a unique identity that deeply resonates with our target audience in the meetings and events industry.
- Identify and pursue high-impact opportunities to amplify brand presence, including partnerships, thought leadership initiatives, and industry recognition.
- Define and drive the strategic use and optimization of AI to elevate Groupize’s marketing efforts and customer engagement.
Demand Generation & Growth Strategy
- Develop and execute an integrated demand generation strategy, leveraging SEO, digital advertising, content marketing, and community engagement to drive lead generation and nurture conversion.
- Formulate strategies to optimize customer acquisition, retention, and expansion, ensuring our marketing initiatives align with both top-of-funnel and lifecycle objectives.
- Oversee and guide cross-channel marketing strategies (email, social, etc), measuring performance and ROI to continuously refine and optimize growth initiatives.
- Manage and oversee the event and tradeshow calendar, ensuring alignment with demand generation and growth objectives while maximizing ROI from event-related activities.
Thought Leadership & Community Engagement
- Elevate Groupize as an industry thought leader by developing high-impact content strategies, including case studies, white papers, and webinars that highlight our unique expertise.
- Champion the brand’s presence in industry forums, conferences, and media to amplify reach and credibility.
- Oversee The Vendry by Groupize community strategy.
Data-Driven Insights & Performance Measurement
- Establish KPIs and analytics frameworks to track the success of marketing initiatives, using data insights to make informed decisions and optimize strategies.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to guide strategic decisions, continuously refining positioning and growth tactics in response to industry trends.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to align on performance metrics and ensure a cohesive, data-driven approach to growth.
Leadership & Team Development
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align marketing initiatives with broader business objectives, advocating for marketing’s role in driving sustainable growth.
- Build, mentor, and inspire marketing team, cultivating a culture of creativity, collaboration, and strategic focus.
- Set clear goals, provide guidance, and foster professional growth, ensuring each team member has the support needed to excel in their roles.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in marketing leadership, with a strong background in B2B SaaS or event technology.
- Proven track record of developing and executing high-level marketing strategies that drive brand growth and market leadership.
- Deep expertise in digital marketing, demand generation, and brand positioning.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Demonstrated experience managing and scaling a marketing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strategic mindset and a results-oriented approach.
