Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Events Manager to lead our events program. This role involves strategizing and executing various events, including conferences, trade shows, and internal gatherings, to enhance Jane’s brand presence and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high-performing events team, ensuring effective collaboration and successful execution of all events.
- Develop and implement an events strategy that aligns with Jane’s business objectives, balancing various types of events to maximize impact.
- Identify and prioritize industry events that align with our goals, enhancing brand visibility through thoughtful booth design and engaging experiences.
- Work closely with marketing, leadership, and other teams to ensure event strategies support overall business goals and foster community relationships.
- Define clear event goals, analyze performance data, and refine strategies to continuously improve event effectiveness.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in event marketing or related fields, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in planning and executing large-scale events, including conferences and trade shows.
- Experience with event management software and marketing tools, such as CRM systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Resourceful and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel within Canada and the U.S. (approximately 10-15% annually).
