About the Position:
The Digital Content Associate is responsible for creating and implementing compelling digital content that builds engagement, drives advocacy, and supports fundraising initiatives at WREN. This position assists in executing multi-channel strategies across social media, email, website, and other digital platforms to connect with diverse audiences and advance WREN’s mission to support women’s rights and empowerment.
The ideal candidate is skilled in content creation, digital marketing, and community engagement, with a strong eye for design, analytics, and audience-driven tactics.
This is a full-time, exempt position with a comprehensive benefits package and an annual salary of $52,000. This is a remote position within the state of South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:
Digital Content & Campaigns
- Develop and publish engaging, accessible content across web, email, social media, and print channels.
- Design and edit visual assets (graphics, videos, stories, infographics) that align with WREN’s brand.
- Support organization-wide campaigns and events with creative content and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with staff to capture stories, updates, and visuals for fundraising and communications.
Audience Engagement
- Build and nurture WREN’s online community by managing social media channels and engaging with followers.
- Grow reach and visibility through collaboration with partners, advocates, and community influencers.
- Use storytelling to highlight WREN’s impact and amplify diverse community voices.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report on digital performance (social media, website, and ad campaigns) to inform strategy.
- Provide insights and recommendations that strengthen content and campaign outcomes.
- Stay current with digital trends and bring innovative ideas to WREN’s campaigns and channels.
Administrative & Coordination
- Manage social media content calendars and maintain digital assets.
- Support project coordination and day-to-day communications tasks for the team.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has at least 2 years managing social media, ideally in a nonprofit or advocacy setting, with proven success in growing audiences and driving engagement.
- Has strong copywriting and editing skills; advanced design abilities for visual content; proficiency with social media tools, digital ads, and basic knowledge of website platforms (e.g., WordPress).
- Has strong project management skills, including the ability to coordinate across teams.
- Comfortable using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, etc.) to inform strategy.
- Has demonstrated success in growing social media audiences and driving engagement.
- Is an excellent communicator and team player who can coordinate across departments and align communications with organizational goals.
- Is detail-oriented with a high bar for quality assurance, able to balance long-term planning with flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
