Job Description

Are you a creative storyteller who lives and breathes social media? Do you love crafting content that inspires, empowers, and connects communities? Beyond the Bias is seeking a Part-Time Content Creator to bring our mission to life across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other digital platforms. This is a flexible, project-based opportunity ideal for someone who wants to make a real impact in the community through visual storytelling.

No formal qualifications needed – we’re looking for someone with creative flair and a strong eye for aesthetics. Show us what you’ve got!

Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Plan, film, and edit engaging short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram that reflects our work, values, and voice.
• Photography: Capture high-quality, on-brand photographs during events, workshops, and community programmes.
• Trendspotting: Stay on top of emerging social media trends and creatively incorporate them into our content.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our team to document key moments, campaigns, and community voices.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all content aligns with Beyond the Bias’s tone, values, and aesthetic.

Role Requirements

• A creative and self-motivated individual with a strong interest in youth, social justice, and community empowerment.
• Someone who understands TikTok, Instagram Reels, and digital storytelling.
• Strong photography and/or video editing skills using apps like CapCut, InShot, Canva, or Adobe tools.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence speaking to and filming people in real time.
